Annual Regime Assessments for The Harborage at Ashley Marina Condominium Association are split into quarterly payments that are due on these dates:
- January 1
- April 1
- July 1
- October 1
Note: Payments are due on or before the 1st day of the Quarter and will be assessed a late fee if payment is not received within 30 days of the due date and will be applied to each subsequent month thereafter. The Late Fee will be calculated based on any outstanding amount due which will be assessed at 1.5% (per month) with a minimum charge of $25.00. Regime accounts that are ≥ 90 days past due will be sent to collections and legal fees passed through to the account.
Administrative Fee Upon Sale or Transfer: Effective 2/23/24, an administrative fee of $450 along with an initiation fee, effective 9/1/2024, shall be charged to anyone purchasing a slip and shall be paid to the Association at closing. The administration fee recognizes the substantial time, efforts and resources devoted to initial conversations with marina staff during the inquiry stages (prior to purchase), responding to legal firms for buyers, marina introductions, review of Rules and Regulations, parking pass (returns and issuing of new pass), insurance review and documentation, updating contact information for slip owners, and QuickBooks/accounting modifications. The new owner initiation fee is established at $25/foot (effective Sept 1, 2024), in addition to the existing $450 administrative fee.
The initiation fee calculation is as follows: for example, a fifty-five foot slip transfer will have an initiation fee of $1,375.00, plus the administrative fee of $450.00 for a total of $1,825.00.
Contact information must be updated regularly with the Association Manager. All invoices are now sent electronically via email and must be paid by bank account (1% fee) or credit card (3% fee).

Yes! We are a proud grant participant of the Clean Vessel Act and do perform free pump-out services for owners.
Dockside pump-outs can be performed, by staff only, next to the diesel fueling area on the T-Dock. This is available 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, daily by calling 843-284-9942.
A mobile pump-out boat is available, staff and weather permitting, on Thursday mornings by reservation only. Email maintenance@MyAshleyMarina.com to schedule. Include name, contact number, vessel slip, vessel name, vessel length, tank size, and permission to board vessel. This information is required for our CVA grant.
Reminder: It is against both State and Federal laws to discharge raw, untreated sewage from any watercraft into the waters of South Carolina.
Property taxes are the responsibility of the owner and are set by the City of Charleston.

The annual assessment paid by members includes property insurance for docks and limited common elements.
All vessels must carry an additional $500k liability policy naming The Harborage at Ashley Marina Condominium Association as an insured party.
Charter vessels must carry an additional $500k for a total of $1,000,000 in liability coverage.
Bareboat charters require a separate $1,000,000 liability policy naming the marina as additionally insured. Documentation must be submitted annually or per charter.

The rules govern all marina activity and are enforced by the Board and staff to ensure safety and respect for shared spaces.
Effective 1/1/2016: New live-aboard moratorium in place.
Effective 7/1/2024: Charter businesses (rental slips only) must pay monthly operating fees:
- 1-6 passengers: $250
- 7-12 passengers: $350
- 13-25 passengers: $500
- 26-50 passengers: $1,000
Funds from these fees support additional dock carts, trash bins, staff, and services.
Yes. The marina has a comprehensive manual that includes procedures for operations, maintenance, and emergency response.

Yes. However, self-managed owners must provide a signed lease to the Association Manager.
Tenants must comply with all Rules & Regulations. Violations are subject to penalties.
Approved leases must use the Standard Lease Agreement (wet storage only).
If leasing to a charter company, management must handle the arrangement.
Governing Clause: Deed Section 9.3 – Leasing of Units
All leases must be in writing and may be reviewed or revoked by the Board if regulations are violated.
The Harborage at Ashley Marina and AMH Management have developed a hurricane emergency plan to reduce risks during major weather events.
No! Due to the City of Charleston's short-term rental regulations, offering your vessel or slip as a short-term rental is prohibited.
Violations will result in fines and potential removal from the marina without warning.
Yes, but you must carry the required insurance coverage and comply with all marina rules.
Charter guests are not permitted to park in any visitor or owner spots at the marina.
